Maternal Support Services (MSS) can be of
assistance to you during your pregnancy and after you have your baby.
Home visits by a registered nurse, nutritionist and social worker can
help give your baby the very best start in life.
- We can help you with transportation for prenatal
care, WIC and other appointments related to your pregnancy and delivery.
- We can assist you with referrals to childbirth and/or
parenting classes, support groups, individual or family counseling.
We also refer to organizations within your community that can provide
you with needed baby items, furniture, guidance for affordable housing
and other supportive aid.
- We can assist you with understanding how healthy
lifestyle choices including proper nutrition during pregnancy can lead
to a healthier newborn.
- We can assist you with developing positive coping
skills for the many new challenges pregnancy and a newborn bring.
You and your baby may be eligible for the MSS/ISS program.
